Effluent Spreading / Effluent Pumping / Umbilical spreading
Waikato based, Paramount Effluent Spreading use an Umbilical spreading system with a dribble bar which enables farmers to efficiently distribute the nutrients found in their effluent, such as nitrogen and phosphorus, enhancing soil fertility and promoting healthy crop growth. This method allows for controlled application rates, reducing the risk of nutrient runoff into waterways. The umbilical system consists of a pump on a tractor, and a 1.6km of hose that connects the pump to the field where the tractor and dribble bar spread the effluent. This allows the effluent to be pumped over long distances without the need for transporting it with tankers, significantly reducing wear on races and paddocks.
GPS Proof of placement
The dribble bar in the field has a flow meter which is connected to GPS proof of placement through Tabula, which provides a report of where your effluent has been applied and at what rates. When used in conjunction with nutrient testing we are able to show exactly what nutrients have been applied and where assisting farmers in their nutrient budgeting.
